Winning Script and Top Ten Loglines Read by Hollywood Producers & Agents

We invite you to enter the 2008 Movie Script Contest for feature length scripts; and the 2008 Movie Script Short Contest for short scripts.
Movie Script Contest was formed to discover and promote new writing talent. Our mission is to make Hollywood more accessible then ever before by connecting writers with our strategic alliance of producers, literary managers and agents. Our strength is finding and promoting producible, winning screenplays and getting that material to companies who have the power and connections to make it happen. Every year, winning scripts of our feature-length contest are read by some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
The judges of the Movie Script Contest and the Movie Script Short Contest are all professionals in the film and television industry and together with our producer partners are always on the hunt for the best new material in a variety of genres.

To encourage the widest representation of film genres, the 2008 Movie Script Contest will give awards in three feature length screenplay categories: 1 Best Drama, 2. Best Comedy, 3. Best Thriller/Horror/Sci-fi. Our genre categories ensure that every screenplay has a fighting chance of winning and opening the doors to Hollywood.
In addition to the unparalleled Hollywood access provided the winners of each category; first place feature length winners will also receive a $1,000 cash prize, screenwriting books and the fabled Golden Brad Award trophy. 2nd and 3rd place winners in each feature length category will also be promoted to Hollywood and receive the Silver Brad and Bronze Brad Awards respectively.
The 1st place winner of the 2008 Movie Script Short Contest will have their winning short script produced. 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners of the short contest will also receive screenwriting books and awards.
